How are the stock transaction charges calculated?
The calculation of transaction charges is primarily based on Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the Stock Broker in Hong Hong. However, the application is generic enough to use by other Stock Exchanges of other countries. You can also enter transaction charges manually.
Can a stock transaction be assigned to more than one portfolio?
Yes, you can. Your stock transactions can be grouped under more than one portfolio so that you can do analysis on different portfolio with a different mix of stock transactions.
How secure is the Stock Invest?
The Stock Invest employs encryption to the stock transactions and portfolio details such as investment and inventory details. You have to enter a Master Password before you can reveal the detailed transaction, investment and inventory records. The detailed transaction, investment and inventory records are stored encrypted in the database.
What is the SeqNo in the Transaction?
The SeqNo is an unique running number within a day. It is used in combination of the Date to uniquely identify a specific transaction.
What is the Code in the Portfolio?
The Code is an unique value in Portfolio that is reserved for future use. The current usage of the Code is to allow sorting of Portfolio by this value.
What is the Code in the Stock?
The Code is an unique value in Stock that is normally used to represent Stock Code in the stock market. It is also used in the Stock Invest Apps to sort the stocks by this value. The suggested format of this Code value is to use 2-character country code followed by a number of characters or digits for symbol or number (e.g. HK00005 represents HSBC stock in Hong Kong Exchange).

How do I set up the Stock Invest after installation?
Launch the Apps after installation and select the System tab to go into the System Screen. Select the Get Started item and follow the steps to set up the Apps.
